Dr. Sherif Louis earned his degree in veterinary medicine at Assuit University in Egypt.
Upon completion of vet school, he moved to the United States where he worked his way up in veterinary industry. Starting out as a kennel tech and worked his way up through the ranks as a veterinary assistant, technician, then hospital manager, and now as a veterinarian.
In 2015 he matriculated to an intensive veterinary skills training program in Ontario Canada. He finished a one-year internship in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine with VCA in the Phoenix metro during the beginning of summer 2017.
His areas of interest within veterinary medicine is soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.
When Dr. Louis is not helping clients at Pet Doctor he enjoys watching his favorite soccer team Al Ahly SC, based out of Cairo, Egypt. He is an avid hiker and looks forward to exploring the many trails South West Arizona has to offer.
